Banana Oat Pancakes

As I have finished school I seem to have a lot more time on my hands and earlier today I decided to make these healthy banana oat pancakes. They were really simple to make with only minimal ingredients being needed plus they tasted really good.

To make 6 Banana Oat Pancakes

80g Rolled Oats
1 Banana
2 tbsp of Honey
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp of Water
Handful of Blueberries (fresh or frozen)

I placed all of the ingredients needed for the pancakes in a bowl apart from the blueberries and only used 1 tbsp of the honey as the remaining ingredients were for the blueberry topping.

I mixed all of the ingredients together with a fork so that the pancakes could be cooked. The ingredients could also be blended which would have probably been easier as doing it with a fork was quite tricky.

I then cooked the pancakes using a frying pan and spooning the mixture to form the round pancake shape. I cooked the pancakes for a few minutes on each side until cooked.

Once the pancakes were cooked I made a blueberry sauce for the topping. I used frozen blueberries and 1 tbsp of Honey and boiled until they represented a sauce. This can be done with pretty much any fruit.

Have you ever made these pancakes before?

PRADASPHERE

Yesterday my Mum and I decided to go to London and one of our favourite places to visit is Harrods and whilst there I was able to see the Pradasphere. It is an exhibition holding all of the fashion pieces from Prada as well as accessories from over the past 100 years and is on display in Harrods throughout May. It was great to visit to see how the trends have changed and some of the pieces were beautiful. Whilst there I took some pictures which are below, enjoy!

Summer Beauty Wishlist

I've never done one of these posts before but as I am such an addict when it comes to buying beauty products and with it almost summer there are several items that I would really love to have for the summer time as well as for everyday use.

Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser- I have been wanting this tinted moisturiser for so long and think It would be great for summer. I am yet to find a tinted moisturiser that I like but keep putting off buying this as it costs £58.00.

St Tropez Express Tan- This is St Tropez new tan which looks amazing, it is a moose that you apply and you can then choose the colour of your tan depending on how long you leave it on before you shower and the colour will then remain.

Benefit Benebalm- I am so excited to try the Benebalm by benefit as it is the lip balm version of the cheek stain Benetint. I am obsessed with Benetint and use it on my lips so this product would be so much more convenient for me.

Clinique Cheek Pop- I've been meaning to buy one of these for a while now as I think they are perfect for summer and I love the bright colours. I love the shade Peach Pop as well as the floral pattern on the blush.

Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel- These nail varnishes look and sound amazing they are scented nail varnishes which come in a range of different colours, I love the look of the Orange Blossom and Sunlit Grass, they would be perfect for summer.

Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balms- I am in love with the Revlon Matte Balms and really want to try the Lacquer Balms, the finish on them looks amazing and I love the colours.

YSL Baby Doll Kiss and Blush

Recently I have been loving one of YSL's new products the 'Baby Doll Kiss and Blush'. This product that looks like a nail varnish is a 2 in 1 air whipped mousse that highlights both your lips and cheeks. To me this product is absolutely brilliant as I love a bright lip as well as adding colour to my cheeks, quite often usually with benetint or a blush, but I can do both of these in this one product.

I have the shades 1 Fuchsia Desincolte and 2 Rose Frivole both pink colours. The Baby Doll Kiss and Blush products come in 12 shades ranging from pinks, peaches and reds. The whole concept of these products is that you can match your lips and cheeks with the same colour or mix and match with two different shades to create your favourite look. I am especially loving colour 1 and tend to wear this on my lips however very minimal of this is needed on the cheeks, the first time I applied this to my cheeks I went a tad over board resulting in me looking like a clown. The Kiss and Blushes are highly pigmented so only minimal amounts of the product is needed and one dot on my cheeks seems to be enough. I tend to use my fingers to apply this as it is super glide able however a buffing brush could be used to help apply to the cheeks.

The formula is matte and seems to be fairly long lasting. I love the packaging and they are great products to keep in your handbag for on the go use, I can't wait to try more of the shades.

Let me know if you have tried any of the Baby Doll Kiss and Blushes or if you are planning on.

Lipsticks for Spring

I'm the biggest lover of lip products, from Lip glosses to Lip Liners, but Lipsticks are my all time favourite and I wear them pretty much everyday. I feel that they are essential as part of my makeup and can really finish off any look. My biggest daily struggle is probably deciding which colour to wear, I'm not even joking, I tend to choose the colour dependent on my mood or whether it matches my outfit. I usually stick to more bold and bright Lipsticks (usually red) and steer away from the neutral shades as I don't think that they suit me. However recently I have been loving 'See Sheer' from MAC, a medium peach/pink which is probably the closest to a nude that I will wear on my lips. As it is Spring I am sharing some of my favourite colours that I am loving to wear at the minute, recently I have been addicted to pink and orange coloured Lipsticks. I love a bold and bright lip look for spring.

MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection

It's that time of year again when MAC release their Summer Collection and for 2014 the collection is 'Alluring Aquatic'. The products are now in stores in the UK however they were available online before this so I had to try out a few items. I purchased an Extra Dimension Blush in the colour 'Seduced at Sea' Extra Dimension Eye Shadow in 'Lorelei' and the Bronzing powder in 'Refined Golden'.

I was automatically attracted to the products packaging, it's a beautiful teal colour with a 3D water splash effect that fits with the aquatic theme. I love the fact that the blush and eye shadow have a wave effect to them.

April Favourites

I honestly cannot get over how quick this year is going, it's already May meaning that I leave sixth form in 2 weeks, which is kind of a scary thought as exams are slowly creeping up, I should really start revising! Anyway, as it is now May I thought I would share some of my favourites that I have been loving throughout April.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara: I'm not usually fussy when it comes to picking a mascara so once I've found one that I like I seem to stick to it for a long time. Over the past year or so I have been loving the Rimmel Lash Accelerator, however when I was recently in Boots I chose to pick this up as a change and I really like it, It makes my lashes look so long and isn't clumpy at all, ticks all the boxes.

L'Oreal Studio Line #TXT Volume Supersizing Spray: My hair is so flat and recently I've been applying moose to my hair when wet but it really isn't doing anything. I first bought this spray last year however have been really loving it this month and can't stop using it. It's great as unlike most other Hairspray's it doesn't have a sticky feel to it and just gives a lot of volume.

Mac Face and Body Foundation: I think I first bought this around two years ago and when I first used it I thought it was incredibly sticky and haven't picked it up since, this was probably because I had no idea that foundation brushes even existed which would have made it a whole lot easier. Seeing a lot of YouTubers using this in their videos, I spotted it when clearing out my makeup and have fallen in love with it.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner: I've never really tried Lip Liner before but I was looking at a matte nude colour to go on my lips and found the exact colour I was looking for in these Lip Liners, 063 Eastend Snob. I tend to use this to fill in my lips which really defeats it being a lip liner but It gives my lips so much definition, Love it!

YSL Long Lasting Waterproof Eye Pencil: I have recently been going through a phase of wearing black eyeliner on my waterline. I have tried so many black kohl pencil eyeliners but find that they all budge so quickly even when I use waterproof ones. I found a mini version of this in my makeup bag and gave it a go and it really is amazing it is so long lasting so I had to buy it in full size.

Frozen DVD: Okay this isn't a beauty favourite but I love Frozen, If you know me personally you will probably already know this as I do not stop singing the songs. I can't even count the amount of times I have watched it and before even released on DVD I already knew every word to most of the songs. Yep call me sad haha, If you haven't already seen it you seriously need too!

What have you been loving throughout April?
